Contact us at hello@bakerandwhite.co.uk. These terms cover consumer purchases through our online store. Read them alongside our Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy. You can save or print these pages for reference. Orders and customer communications are available in English.
Placing an order
Choose your products, bag size, grind and quantity, add them to your basket, and review your order, delivery address and total before paying. You can correct details before submitting your order. Please provide accurate contact and delivery information and use a payment method you are authorised to use.
Submitting an order is an offer to buy. Our automated order acknowledgement confirms receipt, rather than acceptance. We accept your order when we send a dispatch confirmation. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will tell you and refund any payment for the affected goods and any delivery charge no longer due.
Products and prices
Our product pages describe the coffee and other goods we offer. Tasting notes describe our sensory experience rather than added flavourings, unless the product description says otherwise. Follow the storage guidance and best-before information on the packaging.
Prices are shown in the currency indicated on the store and include applicable UK VAT. Delivery charges and the full total are shown before you pay. Available payment methods appear at checkout. We will not charge for optional extras without your agreement.
If a price or product description contains a material error, we will contact you before accepting the affected order so you can choose whether to proceed on the corrected basis or cancel for a refund. Changes to prices or these terms do not retrospectively change an accepted order.
Delivery and ownership
Our Shipping Policy explains delivery charges and arrangements. Unless we agree a different period with you, goods will be delivered within 30 days of the order. Goods remain our responsibility until they come into your physical possession, or that of a person you nominate, except where the law provides otherwise for a carrier you independently commission. Ownership passes once we have received full payment and delivered the goods.
Returns and cancellation
Our Return and Refund Policy explains how to cancel eligible orders, return goods and report a problem. It includes a model cancellation form. Nothing in these terms takes away your statutory rights, including your rights where goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.
Recurring coffee subscriptions
Where offered, subscriptions renew automatically at the coffee, grind, quantity and frequency you choose: weekly, every two weeks or monthly. The recurring product price, delivery charge and billing frequency must be displayed before you subscribe. UK subscription shipping is £3.99 per delivery.
You authorise recurring payments for the orders described at checkout until you cancel. You can ask us to cancel future renewals by emailing hello@bakerandwhite.co.uk; use any subscription-management link supplied with your subscription where available. Contact us before your next scheduled payment so we can stop the next renewal. We will confirm cancellation. An order already processed is handled under our Return and Refund Policy, including any statutory cancellation right.
We will notify you before changing the price or material terms of an ongoing subscription, with an opportunity to cancel before the change takes effect. Subscriptions can only be purchased when they are enabled in the store.
Events, private hire and wholesale
An enquiry about our coffee truck, barista bar or other event service is not a confirmed booking. Service details, availability, payment arrangements and cancellation terms will be set out in a separate written quotation or booking agreement before you commit. Wholesale and other business purchases may be covered by separate agreed terms.
Using our website
You may browse the website and save or print information for your personal use. Our branding, photographs, writing and designs belong to us or their respective owners. Commercial reuse requires the relevant permission. Please do not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access or submit unlawful content.
The store uses Shopify to provide its ecommerce platform. Your purchase contract is with Baker & White Coffee Co Limited. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Questions, complaints and applicable law
